Play Hard, Live Healthy

Play Hard, Live Healthy! is a program brought to Garrett County Schools by the Garrett County Health Department – Health Education and Outreach Unit. Play Hard, Live Healthy! (PHLH) staff partner with one community school each school year to continue the message of the importance of healthy eating and physical activity as well as addressing some of the needs that the community school’s assessment identifies. Working with the Community School Specialist, the PHLH staff spend time in the classrooms, participate in other school events, and offer resources to parents.
